Women at SBC
As women at SBC we desire to grow in our
relationship with Jesus Christ and with each other as we study God’s
word together and seek to live lives that make Him known
Over the past several years, as a diverse group of women, we have sought to make progress towards these goals in the following ways.
Regular Bible
Study
In 2010, we will be studying women of faith from the old testament. These studies will be held once a month on a Thursday evening as per the calender. Venue will usually be in a home and will be confirmed in SBC News.
Other get-togethers
This year we plan to host a number of social gatherings for outreach and fellowship. This includes a fundraiser for cancer research in May, a social dinner after SBKC in July, supporting the Katoomba Women's Convention (KWC) in September, and a Christmas celebration at the end of the year.
