Weddings & Conference Hire
SBC has 2 main buildings which can be made available for weddings, conference functions and other meetings.
The main building was built in 1901 and has recently been fully renovated, including noise insulation and air conditioning. Original architectural features have been kept to celebrate the church’s rich history and maintained for community use today.
The main meeting hall can accommodate up to 250 people. There are also built in audio visual facilities (sound system and video projection) and a grand piano available. This area is ideal for weddings or conferences.
The lower hall of the main building has capacity for meetings of up to 150 people, has a fully equipped kitchen and crèche facilities.
The main building also has 5 smaller rooms which can be used for discussion groups of between 6-10 people.
The adjacent building was built in 1907 and has also been renovated. It has a large meeting room with stain glassed windows, intricate ceilings and can accommodates upto 200 people. There are 4 rooms upstairs for small group meetings of (8-12).
SBC is easily accessible by public transport including buses running along Parramatta Rd from the city and a short 5 minute walk to Stanmore station on the Cityrail network. There is suburban on street parking.
