Men at SBC
As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of
his friend (Prov27:17)
We want to develop together as men for the glory of God!
Whilst there are many stereotypes of men from the media and the
culture around us, we want to take our lead from the only
perfect man, Jesus Christ.
We believe God wants men to demonstrate loving leadership in our
families, in our workplace, place of study and in gospel
labours. Whatever we are engaged in, we are committed to doing
it for God's glory.
There is a recognition amongst men at SBC that we desperately
need God's help and guidance, so we spend time studying the
Bible, praying and supporting one another. We want to be fully
equipped to meaningfully engage with the world in which we live.
