We live in an information age where access to data, facts and research is at our fingertips. Despite this unprecedented access to knowledge, we often see people wrestling with daily life. For all the advances in technology and claims of progress, many struggle in the workplace, experience strained family life, and often feel isolated in wider society. Our latest series “Walking in Wisdom” takes us through the Book of Proverbs. It reminds us that if we want a life filled with meaning, joy and satisfaction, we will have to heed the lessons taught by our loving heavenly Father. He counsels […]

Have you ever been disappointed by other Christians? Ever witnessed bickering, mistrust or division amongst God’s people? Have you ever felt a certain individual is a write off or the church as a whole is a basket case, and that it would be better if we all just walked away? Our first series for 2019 will look at Paul’s First letter to the Corinthians. The church at Corinth is a mix of Jews and Greeks, rich and poor, new and mature believers. This melting pot creates tension, division & discord. There are worship wars, church members taking each other to […]

Our latest teaching series will look at Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. In a world obsessed with image and identity, we will be reminded that our primary identity is “in Christ”. We will recall that in our natural state, we are dead rebels and sons of disobedience, but God’s electing grace gives new life and brings us into the family of God. These truths ought to produce praise, adoration and thanksgiving in all those who are in Him. Ephesians also highlight the unifying work of the gospel making one people, one body and one bride of Christ. We are reminded […]

Where did I come from and why am I here? Is there any purpose or meaning to life? How should we relate to others and the environment? Why is there so much suffering and will it ever end? These are common question many people ask and are searching answers for. Our series in Genesis takes us back to the very beginning of time. It is God’s story to explain the beginnings of the world, humanity, sin and suffering, and also the promise of help and redemption. Genesis addresses many of the questions above and provides a basis for understanding our identity and the world […]

Our series “Doctrines to Die For” takes us back 500 years to the start of the Protestant Reformation. The Reformation was a movement that involved figures such as Luther, Zwingli, Calvin and others who rediscovered key biblical doctrines by the grace of God. Underpinning the Reformation was the re-establishment of Scripture Alone as the ultimate infallible authority in the Church. This created a platform which led to the recovery of the Gospel summarised by the solas: Faith Alone, In Christ Alone, By Grace Alone and to the Glory of God Alone. We plan to explore the meaning of each of these doctrines, their historical […]

At 9:30am on Good Friday, we’ll consider one of the the most amazing moments in history, the sacrificial death of Jesus on the cross. This is not simply an act of heroism or an example of selfless love. Christ embraces the wrath of God so that sinners might be pardoned and reconciled, and be brought lovingly into God’s family.   At 10:30am Easter Sunday, we’ll see that the grave has no power over Jesus. He will be exalted and triumph over the stench of death and sin. If you’ve never been to church, haven’t been for a while or simply exploring Christianity, […]
