Who we are

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us better.

We are a Christian church in Sydney's inner west who desire to be passionate followers of Jesus Christ. Our core purpose is to glorify God in all that we do. We love the good news of Jesus Christ and seek to proclaim this through all our activities and ministries.

What we believe

• The Bible is God's word; we accept it as the ultimate authority for all we believe and all we do

• God exists in three persons, is in absolute control of all people and all things at all times and in all places

• All people have sinned and are unable to save themselves

• Jesus Christ is God and man, the only Saviour who died and rose again to save his people from their sins

• The good news of salvation is to be freely proclaimed to all

• Baptism is for believers only by immersion in water

• Church membership is for all who truly believe in Jesus, have been baptised, are seeking to encourage and be part of a local body of Christians

• Worship should be God honouring and joyful, with the preaching and teaching of God's word as its central feature

• We believe that the truths of the Bible are most clearly expressed in the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith
